The 250-hp T5 has a turbocharged engine with the choice of front-wheel or all-wheel drive. The 316-hp T6 engine is both turbocharged and supercharged employing an all-wheel drivetrain. The 400-hp plug-in hybrid T8 engine is also both turbocharged and supercharged, but also includes an electric motor and lithium-ion battery with an all-wheel drivetrain. The base engine achieves an estimated fuel economy of 28 mpg highway and 22 mpg city, while the T8 powertrain earns an estimated 59 eMPG. Driving modes consisting of Comfort, Eco, Dynamic, Off-road, and Individual modes are standard.

2019 BMW X3

The BMW X3 comes equipped with your choice of two powertrains; both mated to an 8-speed Steptronic automatic transmission with sport and manual shift modes. The base engine is a 2.0-liter inline 4-cylinder TwinPower turbocharged engine which generates 248-hp and earns an estimated 30 mpg highway and 23 mpg city. The available upgraded powertrain consists of a 3.0-liter Performance 6-cylinder TwinPower turbocharged engine which produces 355-hp. An 8-inch ground clearance along with Comfort, Sport, and Eco Pro driving dynamics come standard, while an adaptive sport suspension, sport differential, and dynamic damper are optional.
