The Volvo S90 Plug-In Hybrid produces 400-hp and 472 lb-ft of torque with its 2.0-liter inline four-cylinder turbocharged and supercharged engine paired with an automatic transmission and an 87-hp electric motor. The S90 Hybrid is designed with an all-wheel drivetrain and achieves an estimated 33 mpg highway and 26 mpg city with the gas engine, has a 21-mile electric range, and a combined fuel economy of 71 MPGe. The standard driving modes consist of Power which combines the gas engine and electric motor for strong acceleration, Pure mode utilizing electric-power only, and Hybrid for the most efficient drive.
