Features
The Volvo S90 can do it all. You can customize the interior to suit your tastes however you would like, from color schemes to various interior trim designs. Audi can match many of those features, but not with the air filtration and not with the customization; the Audi can only offer dual-climate control, as well.
Safety
Volvo has always had a well earned reputation for their dedication to building safe cars, and the S90 is no exception. The S90's advanced safety features include an automatic braking system after collision, pedal release, semi-autonomous collision avoidance technology, blind-spot and cross-traffic monitoring, distance alerts and adaptive cruise control, a crumpling steering column in case of collision, electronic stability control, driver alerts, automatic emergency brake light, backup cameras, head restraints and energy absorbing interiors, lane departure warnings, off-road avoidance warnings, dual safety crumple zones... in short, this is the most advanced car on the road when it comes to safety. Audi offers some of these safety features, but the A6 does not have nearly the attention to detail or dedication that Volvo's S90 does when it comes to ensuring you get where you're going, or that you're safe in case something goes wrong while you go there.
Value
The real separation between the Volvo S90 and its competitors is price. Bluntly: others can offer the same features, nobody can offer the same safety, and the Volvo S90 is priced much lower than the majority of its European (and even Asian) competitors. The base model Volvo S90 starts at an MSRP of $46,950, while the base model Audi A6 starts at $47,600. That seems reasonable, until you scale up. Fully loaded, the Volvo S90 with all of the amazing tech and safety features, a V-6 engine that is both turbo and supercharged and all-wheel drive has an MSRP of $55,450, while the fully loaded Audi that has the same features, similar performance but less dedication to safety has an MSRP of $70,900. The choice seems fairly obvious in this case.
